The Lipid Oils Academy

The only source for online education focused solely on the lipid oils. Our programs cover lipid oil chemistry, carrier oil essentials, facial oil formulation and anhydrous skincare formulating.  

Our students are formulators, skincare professionals making custom products for clients, entrepreneurs working on their signature product lines, herbalists making healing infusions and salves and aromatherapists interested in making more effective topical EO blends with the right carrier oils. 

And, many of our students simply want to find a more simple, natural and effective way to care for their skin with the rich, healing lipid oils.

Susan M Parker 

I'm Susan M Parker and I am here to guide you in your work with the lipid oils and carriers that make up such a rich and important part of skincare and skincare formulation. 

As a self-taught formulator, I started my herbal skincare business in 1996. I made infused oils with herbs and other botanicals and worked them into all my formulas. Herbs, plants and botanical families is still a big part of my work.

Early on I fell in love with carrier oils, though at the time we had just a few dozen to choose from. But my curiosity  and research lead me to write and publish my book Power of the Seed: Your Guide to Oils for Health & Beauty in 2014. 

Researching and teaching about the lipid oils fills my days.

In 2017 Susan and I teamed up to bring her research and work on lipid oils to a wider audience.

I was working as a copywriter and studying marketing at the time and I saw interest growing around Susan's book Power of the Seed Your Guide to Oils for Beauty & Health.  

The need for educational resources on the rapidly growing world of carrier oils and lipids was apparent. 

So we decided to team up and go into business together. 

The first release of Susan's signature program Lipids Decoded has a cohort of 50 students from around the world. 

Since then we launched the Lipid Oils Academy and have welcomed thousands of students into our programs.
