Our programs cover lipid oil chemistry, carrier oil essentials, facial oil formulation, and anhydrous skincare formulating.

Our students include formulators, skincare professionals creating custom products, entrepreneurs developing signature product lines, herbalists crafting healing infusions and salves, and aromatherapists formulating more effective topical essential oil blends with the right carrier oils.

Many of our students also join us simply to discover a simpler, more natural, and effective way to care for their skin with rich, healing lipid oils.

I'm Susan M Parker 

I'm Susan M. Parker, and I’m here to guide you in your work with lipid oils and carrier oils, the rich and essential foundation of skincare formulation.

As a self-taught formulator, I launched my herbal skincare business in 1996, crafting infused oils with herbs and botanicals that became the heart of my formulations. My passion for herbs, plants, and botanical families remains a central part of my work today.

Early on, I fell in love with carrier oils, though at the time, only a few dozen were widely available. My curiosity and research led me to write and publish Power of the Seed: Your Guide to Oils for Health & Beauty in 2014, helping others discover the vast world of lipid oils.

Today, my work is dedicated to researching, exploring, and teaching about lipid oils, and I’m thrilled to share this knowledge with you.

I'm Olivia L Parker

In 2017, my mom Susan and I teamed up to bring her research and expertise on lipid oils to a wider audience.

At the time, I was working as a copywriter and studying marketing, and I saw growing interest around Susan's book, Power of the Seed: Your Guide to Oils for Health & Beauty. It was clear that the world of carrier oils and lipids was expanding rapidly, but high-quality educational resources were still hard to find.

Recognizing this need, we decided to build something bigger together.

The first release of Susan's signature program, Lipids Decoded, welcomed 50 students from around the world. From there, we launched The Lipid Oils Academy, and since then, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming thousands of students into our programs.

While Susan is the expert and the face of our work, I’ve been deeply involved in building, growing, and shaping the Academy from behind the scenes. Together, we’ve created a space where formulators, herbalists, and skincare professionals can learn, explore, and thrive.
