Date & Time:

Friday, January 23rd, 2026

10AM Pacific Time / 1 PM Eastern (US)

About the event

The controversy around seed oils isn’t driven by new science, but by how existing science has been misunderstood.

  • What polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA's) are and why they appear in all plant oils
  • Oxidation as a function of time, freshness, storage, and handling
  • Essential fatty acids and why they cannot be inherently toxic
  • How industrial processing reshaped the reputation of seed oils
  • The difference between commodity oils and traditionally produced oils
  • Why fatty acid labels alone don’t tell the full story
